when I would encourage my kids to play video games. It was so quiet the other night and Chad came in to tell me to look at the kids. Okay, all these years I've been telling them to {"play nice together"} -this isn't exactly what I meant but, I'll take what I can get. ESPECIALLY when they are so quiet.
The girls were just as content to watch Tanner play the game. They have a serious case of video-game deprivation.
Do you like Tanner's pants? Grandma Vicky made them for him for Christmas and he insisted on her sewing a tail on them. He loves them and shows them off every chance he can get. Like Kaylie's combination of sparkly princess headband and rockin' dirtbike gear p.j.'s? And then there's Kamrie, I wonder if she ever blinked that whole 15 minutes they got to play/ watch the video game.
I had fun taking these impromptu pictures while we were over visiting family Sunday. Thanks Sheena and Billy for letting me practice. The baby's due date was yesterday. Can you believe how teeny Sheena is for being one day before her due date? Lucky Girl! We're really excited to see who's in there. They're being top secret about what the name is going to be and we don't know if it's a girl or boy either. The anticipation is killing me!
It's been a week since we started using Exfuze Seven+. It is the first multi-botanical nutritional drink that for the first time ever takes all seven of these super foods, plus a few others and puts them into one beverage.
Our whole family has been using it for a week now and I can already tell a difference. Last week I had a very 'jammed pack' day! And I would have normally been way irritable and stressed but, I was so relaxed and calm. Chad and I were amazed!!! We also felt a cold coming on last week and we were able to fight it off. As well as a decrease in joint pain. Exfuze taste similar to prune juice and all you need is less than an ounce (half for kids). Our kids ask for it everyday!!!! Finally!!!! We've found something that will be great for all of us. We're looking forward to eliminating runny noses, healthier kids, and keeping our bodies cleansed.
Have you heard of Acai, or Noni juice? These sell for about $30-40/ bottle!!!! The media as been covering these super foods like crazy!!! Oprah, The Dr's. Rachel Ray... to name a few.Exfuze is less expensive and it has SEVEN super food extracts in it.
Exfuze Seven+Pro has Gac, Acai, Goji, Noni, Fuccoiden, Mangosteen, Seabuckthorn, Eleutherococcus & Astragalus in it. And we're the 2nd people in our state to sign up as distributors. It was so easy! And it was only $40 for the application proccess. After 8 days we already have 8 people under us and we have 3 more people who will sign up this week and 3 others who are trying Exfuze Seven+. We are blown away! We didn't do this for the business, we did it for our families health and it is completely taking off with little effort! I can't believe how inexpensive it is in comparison to products I've been using that have attributed to my weight loss for almost 2 years. Now we can afford for our whole family to benefit. Everyone wants to feel good!!!!

With my crazy schedule here's one of my attempts at being a domestic housewife.
Here at our house we LOVE having fresh bread. And we go through bread like crazy here. So, the other day I thought, "Why don't I make homemade bread more often?" Well, the answer for me is- the mess! With my happy helpers we get flour EVERYWHERE!!!! So, the other day I got smart. I pulled out some gallon sized baggy's and made mix's. Wheat, White and Farmhouse bread.
1st- I wrote on the outside if the bags what kind of bread it was with the wet ingredients and how much yeast to add.
2nd- I added all the dry ingredients to each bag.
Now all I have to do is pull out the bread machine, pick a mix, dump it in, add an egg, water and yeast and we have fresh bread within 4 hours. Chad and the kids love it! I noticed that Chad and Tanner walk in the door with big smiles the day we make bread. It's kinda fun. And best of all THERE IS NO MESS TO CLEAN!
And It entertains Kaylie and Kamrie for a good 15 minutes. They love watching to see what's going on inside the bread machine. (That's when I get to sneak away and blog :-) )
and another picture or two of my Tan-Man. What can I say? I kinda like the kid! (These pix are posting kinda flat looking through typepad. They look better through my other applications.) Anyway.....
We just got back lastnight from Nevada. We had a fun time swimming and playing at the Hotel while Chad was working with a Physicist fixing a Digital Mamography Machine. I also got to go on a little shopping spree while we were there. I got this little leather jacket for Tanner for $11, and I found a Levi Strauss jacket for me for $13. AND I hit this awesome sale over the weekend and got $550 worth of groceries for only $130. It was pretty sweet!
A few weeks ago our friends, the Yosts invited us to go stay up at their cabin with them. We had a great time playing in the snow and riding. Our kids are such die hards it was so fun to listen to them giggle the entire ride. We had so much fun! Not to mention, Chad was like a kid in a candy store. I had just as much fun watching him get excited as I did riding. When we got to the cabin it was snowed in so the guys hauled all of our food, gear and clothes back on the sleds. We're so grateful for the great friends we've made during our last few years. Thanks Kent and Jennifer! Here are some of my favorite pictures of our vacation.
I came across this picture a few weeks ago that was taken January 2nd of 2008. My mom and I were taking pictures of each other so that we could do a virtual hairstyle makeover on this website.
Recently I've been trying to think of a good heartfelt resolution I can commit to for this year. And then it hit me, "Wow! I did a pretty good job on my goal I made last year!" And I wonder, do people ever sit back to celebrate the good they have done? I really hope so!
Taking this huge leap has felt good! It was challenging, I had to do some soul searching, I had to take control, it has been rewarding and it feels good. And though I still have personal goals to attain. I can't help but compare the me today to the me I was almost exactly 1 year ago. I feel better. It's easier for me to be the real me without the outside me holding me back. Even though I still am 'me' it's just a like I'm a vibrating at a higher frequency. (am I making any sense at all whatsoever, or have I been reading too many Stephanie Meyer books?) lol!
I hope you all take time to Celebrate the little things (or big things) in life that you've accomplished! I'd love to hear some of your triumphs from last year! Leave me a comment.
Wishing you the best for your journey to 2010! (okay, two thousand ten?..... that sounds weird!)
